Recognizing the critical need for comprehensive education, research, diversity, and inclusion initiatives for adults living with Myasthenia Gravis, we have taken proactive steps to establish an organization dedicated to delivering pragmatic holistic wellness solutions. Addressing the healthcare disparities prevalent within our community further underscores our commitment to supporting and empowering individuals in need.

“Our organization is dedicated to empowering individuals affected by Myasthenia Gravis and enhancing their quality of life. Through advocacy, connection, engagement, and education, we aim to equip our adult Myasthenia Gravis community with knowledge about essential healthy lifestyle practices, spiritual balance, mental wellness, and the potential benefits of herbs, supplements, and products for their holistic well-being. We strongly advocate for the use of food as medicine and emphasize the significance of gut health in promoting overall wellness."

Support our mission

Hope’s Pantry offers items for daily living to our MG community.  These items can be picked up at our events and support meetings in Georgia and Wisconsin.  Since our launch in June 2023, we have given away over 1,900 items!  The items we have available change monthly and differ by location.   We will always have toiletries available you.

Current available items in Georgia include:  Portable fans, fish oil, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, sunscreen, mobile phone cup holder, car grip devices, bed latter, bathroom grippers, supplements, eye patches, cooling towels and various seeds for planting vegetables and herbs.  We are seeking donations for canes and electronics toothbrushes.

E. Equitably

By helping people equitably, we strive to reduce disparities, provide the necessary support our community needs to thrive and fill the gaps of needed items that can affect everyday life living with myasthenia gravis.  We recognize the cost of health and wellness can challenge most wallets.  After hearing from several people about how they are juggling food, treatments, supplements, deductibles and items for self-care we had to act.

  • Wear natural sunscreen (zinc oxide)
  • Stay in doors to avoid excessive heat exposure
  • Wear loose light weighted clothes

  • Use a cooling towel (provided at our awareness day events)
  • Use Ice compress on your neck
  • Use your air conditioner or fan
  • Try a portable neck fan
  • Wear a cap and sunglasses to protect your eyes
  • Schedule outings in the early morning when it isn't as hot
