FAQs

Does holistic mean I can’t take medicine? No, holistic means looking at everything your body needs to get well.

How do I select which vitamins I should take?  The best way is to have your  physician check your vitamin levels for signs of deficiencies.

Does MG Holistic Society Advocate any particular diet?  We support an anti-inflammatory, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian way of living.

Where should I start my holistic lifestyle journey?  This is different for everyone. Here are three free things you can do right now:

1) Look at what you are eating.  Garbage in garbage out.  Gut health is vital to your overall wellness. Work on eating fresh fruits and vegetables with every meal.  An anti-inflammatory diet, Autoimmune Protocol, Gluten Free or Mediterranean lifestyle should be considered.  Start reducing the number of processed foods you eat and buy as they are loaded with chemicals your body does not need.  Look at the labels.  Can you pronounce the ingredients?  Are the ingredients more than inch on the box? Consider what these ingredients may be doing to your health. Are these ingredients banned in other countries?

2) Remove toxins in your home!  These toxic chemicals could be activating your symptoms. Look up the term "forever chemicals" and remove them your home.

3) Create a budget.  If you have never done one, we are happy to assist you with getting started.  In short, know how much money is coming in and going out.   Are you paying for services, apps, or products you don't use?  Cancel them.  Make sure you are paying yourself first with all money you receive and putting it in an account for a rainy day.  Saving for your future can start at any age.
